Just woundering if Freddie's Great Pretender and Living on My Own and Brian's Driven By You videos are going to be on the Greatest Hits III DVD? And Elton John's take on Show Must Go On and George Michael's take on Somebody To Love? If the VHS relase did, the DVD must do musn't it?

Wrong, Greatest Video Hits 2 on DVD was already different from the Greatest Flix 2 VHS.
They will not make the mistake again to release the trashy Greatest Flix 3 as a DVD (solo stuff on a Queen disc, come on!!!!). The greatest video hits 3 on DVD will only include the QUEEN videos from 1991 up to 1998 (probably No One But You). And I hope it doesn`t include this shitty Rah Mix of Under Pressure.

Oh, they SO will do this mistake again... And I will SO buy it anyway!
the UP Rah mix was an official Queen hit single with Fred and Bowie, both seen in a video for the song so OF COURSE it will be on there. probably the lead track
Under Pressure from 1981 was a hit single, but not the Rah Mix - so it doesn´t deserve a place on a greatest video hits dvd (the original hit song is already on GVH 2). Come on, its also not a new song, its just a shitty remix.
I actually quite enjoy the Rah mix. I for one hope it IS on the DVD.
Oh, come on Thomas Quinn...
I didn`t say that it will not be on Greatest Video Hits 3. I just HOPE that it will not be on it. Up to 1991 I can think of no bad compilation from Queen - they released 2 Greatest Hits with not repetitions of songs and the songs were all hits. With Greatest Hits 3 they have already stretched the bounds of credibility because there are only three or four new singles (and therefore chart successes) after 1991. And do you really think that a remix of Under Pressure was a good idea? The original song was perfect and Freddie or Bowie would never have remixed it!
It was just released by Brian and Roger to get some attention chartwise (not for the money I´m sure!), and it didn`t really do well. So whats the point of having it on GVH 3. It wasn`t a hit, it wasn`t a new song anyway. So Roger and Brian should make sure to return to quality releases like GH1 and GH2, not to a silly project like GH3!
GH1: 9 albums -> 17 original songs
GH2: 5 albums -> 17 original songs
GH3: 1 album -> 5 original Queen songs (plus three old ones), at least they should not have released their solo stuff on a Queen album!!

Well as I see it there will be stuff off Innuendo, Made In Heaven & Rocks. But that gives you what? 10?
From the viewpoint of someone who didn't get a chance to hear any of their solo stuff before buying GH3 (Other than Brian's "Another World" and chunks of "Barcelona"), I think it was a good thing that they put a few solo songs on it. I mean, To this day I STILL don't actually OWN a copy of "Back To The Light", as it is out of print here. I may have NEVER gotten to hear "Driven By You".

Greatest VIDEO Hits - the video to the Rah mix was special - despite its flaws. I seem to be of the few who both liked the remix and the video!
I quite like the RAH Mix on Under Pressure.
me as well.
with regards the GVH3 dvd release....
I don't see how QP are going to be able to complete the product based on releases from 1990 onwards.....
Disc 1 would be Innuendo singles videos, MIH singles Doro videos, No-One But You & Queen Rocks promo videos (Put Out The Fire, I'm In Love With My Car etc.)& Seven Seas Of Rhye BBC taping.
Disc 2 chuck in some odds and sods, making of the Innuendo videos etc.

I think the RahMix is great
and the video - even better.
All GVH3 needs are the core Innuendo+NOBY vids and I'll buy it.
I'm not gonna start complaining if they put 'too much' on it, though. That's rediculous.
For those who want to pay more for less, more power to ya!

as for filling up the dvd with stuff i distincly remember doro in the studios when they were recording the miracle so i won't be suprised if there was footage of miracle and innuendo sessions included at some point if not now then in the future.
By the way the info on doro filming was in a 1988 christmas issue fan club mag and it clearly states doro in the studio recording the band(obviously successful after the making of one vision).
