Maybe he wasn't available. Maybe they'd never met, and so it felt funny to ask. I don't really care. I think he beats most of the people on the FM Tribute concert anyway.

Give the guy a chance. He's not replacing anyone, Freddie was Freddie and Paul is Paul. Everybody knows that Freddie was unique so trying to be like Freddie makes no sense.
Paul knows what he's up to. I don't know him, but he seems OK and I'm sure he'll try to make the very best of it. I hope the tour will work out, and maybe Roger and Brian will even get together to record some new songs after the tour, with Paul.
