Just stumbled across the above link whilst browsing. I'm sure that it is probably not, but does anyone know if the 'John Deacon CBE' referred to is 'our' John?? It seems perfectly feasible as Jim Beach is a Trustee, and the site is connected to EMI, but surely this would hvae come out by now, and surely Roger and Brian (and even Jim?) would have also had such an honour also?
Can someone settle this nag for me please?

As much as I would and would not like to admit this, I think it is. But then again, there are other John Deacons in the world.

John Deacon CBE is the Chair of Governors at The BRIT School Performing Arts and Technology School. Nothing saying he is the John Deacon from Queen
But The Queen did visit the school.
