What songs-Queen or not-give you chills?

Non-Queen songs;
-Because, The Beatles: very haunting, Mozartish theme. The harmonies are mainly what do it, even the anthology's version of solely the vocals simply blow me away. It is a very beautiful song
-Revolution 9, The Beatles: simply because the phrase "number nine" actually does say what they say it does. I recorded myself on my computer, and freaked myself out. Creepy stuff.
-Lacrymosa, Mozart: He was dieing as he wrote this (but not for himself, he couldn't have afforded it), an unparalled work in classics

Queen songs:
-You Take My Breath Away: the expression Freddie puts into this song is so emotional. He achieves an expression in music that isn't always considered musical, an audible intake of breath before ..."you take my breath away". I love this song because it means so much to me, it is very close to my heart.
-Who Wants To Live Forever: such a sad song. I can't believe people cut out the end in the video for the last line "Who waits forever, anyway?" That final line is vital to the essence of the song.
-The Show Must Go On: even more sad than the latter. The lyrics are so moving and powerful, and Freddie sings it with such convition. Undenibly magnificent. This song out of all of these gives me the most chills.

You're actually the first Beatles fan that I hear say to like Revolution 9.

I respect your opinion, but I think that's probably the worst Beatles song ever, and I know a lot of Beatles fans feel the same because it was more like a psychadelic experiment between John and Yoko.

Now, 'Because' is an awesome song. I actually heard once that the melody is the same as 'Moonlight Sonata' by Beethoven but played backwards.

I can't even BEGIN to answer this topic in full, But I can tell you two songs in particular that get me EVERY time... The Show Must Go On and These Are The Days Of Our Lives. There is something about these tracks that moves me to no end.

Stairway to Heaven used to give me chills, but now, it's been so overplayed that it has lost it's effect.

It was OK when Aerosmtih sold 'Just Push Play' for those Dodge commercials. That song was crap anyways, so who gave a rat's ass?

'Dream On' on the other hand is one of the greatest songs ever and a timeless classic. I was so dissapointed when I heard it on that stupid Cadillac commercial.

There must be some confusion. I didn't intend for it to seem that I like that "song". All I was saying was that it is creepy if you say "number nine" and hear "turn me on dead man" if you reverse the track. Especially from your own vocal chords. For this song, I was noting the creepy, freaked out chills it gave me, not "Oh my God, this is the greatest song in the world" chills. The greatest song in the world chills are definately my queen choices.

2. good company " all my friends have gone... disappeared...there wasnt really anyone but me," that one because it so vivid of being alone.

3.the barney song- it doesnt give me chills but when ever i hear it i cringe. i guess that goes for most of us right?

4. britney spear's "my progetive" cuz britney spears nowadays give me the willies.

and 5. Verison's "Iam everything u want." i can just imagine my bf screaming the lines: " iam everything u want, iam everything u need, iam everything inside of u that u which u could be..."
