as for thunder that question has been asked on their website & i cant see it as Danny Bowes Thunder singer has had Paul Rogers comparions before for me Danny Bowes is the better singer & thunder have always had free/bad company comparisons
& when thunder played under bon jovi at wembley in 1995 , a certain mr jovi took offence because thunder outplayed them
im not getting into thunder v queen thing so dont start people.. it could happen again ie stealing the show

and to add i cant see any support acts with both camps having such a vast back catalogue when i saw macca 2 years ago the same thing his point of view which can be viewed as macca being big headed he didnt any silences & moving of equipment before he went on ... so he did the strangey artsy thing which worked quite well & then wallop he started with "hello goobye"
as for the darkness, they're were a good night out 2 years ago when no one knew them i saw them in night club in middlesbrough you get drunk & just enjoy the acdc/thin lizzy/queen trademarks but when i went to leeds last year (just to see the wildhearts) how they managed to drag a 40 minute less album into 90 mins was beyond me & the point was lost itll interesting to see where the dreaded album 2nd album goes

There's going to be one after all then? Just checked Wire Daisies site.....Treanna Morris lead singer, supported Roger on Electric Fire tour and Jim Beech's son I think... Ol Beech
plays keyboards? I wonder...........

As for Queen tribute bands....uh no.[/QUOTE]
HEAR THIS..... no tribute bands within 5000 kilometres of any of the gigs. I really feel strongly about this one!! I don't want to hear impersonators turning out Queen songs when you can see the real thing later on! The whole idea is a joke!. Prefer to hear an original lesser known band with their own ideas and songs having a chance to play on a bigger stage rather than some poser dressed as Freddie singing ******* Radio Ga Ga! Tribute bands don't have the need to play original material and will just copy their idols. I'm not against tribute bands but it's not right for a rock'n'roll show somehow.

Either no support or someone who's half decent please. I've seen plenty of appalling support bands in my time.

Come on Guys lets get real ....
Do you honestly think Bri would allow a tribute band as support ???? I don't think so ...
The best support band I saw was in 1973 their setlist was:
Procession
Father To Son
Son And Daughter
Ogre Battle
Hangman
Keep Yourself Alive
Liar
Jailhouse Rock
Shake Rattle And Roll
Stupid Cupid
Be Bop A Lula
Jailhouse Rock
Big Spender Bama Lama Bama Loo
Shit !!! that was ** years ago

hey folks,
i never had the chance to tell ya that I'LL be supporting Queen on their tour!
On his site Brian just told that nothing's decided, anyway I don't think that every concert will have a support act.

Support or no support, fans are only really interested in Queen + Paul Rodgers. Maybe fans think that having a decent support act will make the £50 ticket price more worthwhile....value for money and all that.
