Bohemian Rhapsody IS Freddie Mercury's greatest song...he wrote many great ones...but nothing like that. You cannot be a Queen fan and not care for BoRhap. If you don't care for Bohemian Rhapsody then you are indeed not getting what Queen was all about as a band. You're missing the point...so go back to listening to Polish Folk.

I think you're missing the point Jasen. As far as I can see, nobody has said that Bo Rhap isn't a great song, It's certainly Freddies (and Queens) best known song. But It's testament to his astounding songwriting ability that many fans familiar with the Queen back catalogue rate a lot of songs much more highly.

There's a thread asking for top tens for mojo magazine somewhere, if you check the responses you'll see that not many people ascribe to your opinion, although it's one you have every right to hold.

And please, less of the xenophobic insults, everyone knows that it's the French and not the Germans anyway.

I enjoy a bit of fun like everyone but am getting pissed off at the lack of any positive contributions, and the amount of total shit posted on these threads. I'm going down the pub now where I can mix with the grown up's.

My idea on this subject is as follows. Yes, bohemian rhapsody is a great song. But i feel that they don't nessecerily have to play it. I feel that they should play some more recent songs that they really haven't had a chance to play in concert like Breakthru, the Miracle, Invisible man, Princes of the Universe, etc.

Let's make one thing clear- I don't care what do you think about Polish people as I LEFT the country about 4 years ago and have no plans in the next few years to go back there. BUT you insulted ME in particular, something I didn't like. Hence the replies.

I think alot of people are forgetting that Queen hasn't put on a tour of this magnitude in 15 years. Alot of people are "new" Queen fans...I am only 19 and if Queen didn't play some of their biggest hits I would be quite disappointed.

I just think that anyone other than Freddie singing Bo Rhap is a waste, including Tony Vincent (who I felt did a great job performing the back catalogue in the musical).

Remember when Elton John started it off at the Tribute Concert?

The crowd took over immediately and were "ahead" of Elton in terms of timing!
