WHY do they have to attack QUEEN like that, it was over 20 years ago, and when everything's died dowm after the first artical, they go writing ANOTHER artical. Actually, come to think of it, i hate ALL news papers.
rock on and peace out. www.mrbb.net/f2/queen.html VISIT LINDA'S SITE!! (not mine) Lindaofthevalley. :-)
What have they attacked Queen about?
We love you Freddie, R.I.P
You know, people and newspapers are always attacking the band so much that I've just decided to let it go! Everyone's going to have their own opinion of the band, but who cares? We know and love the band, so it shouldn't matter what anybody else thinks.
Resistance is futile. You are now an orb.
It's the only way they can attempt to get more readers.

No wonder BM is so pissed off. Reading on his website they even changed his reply and posted another pro gaurdian view against it.
Keep Good Company
its a good paper generally

at least it isnt stirring up racism/homophobia( a la Daily Mail)

or obsessed with the cult of celebrity(the sun)

whatever the guardian do know..they didnt hound freddie during his dying days unlike the tabloids...remember that

Sorry to ask but, I believe this topic belong to the geography section:
"When everything died after the first artical...."
That's called the Glaciar Era isn't it?
The trouble with quotes on the Internet is that you can never know if they are genuine." - Abraham Lincoln -
I'm actually surprised the new tour has got so much coverage. I didn't think the media would take it seriously enought to report.
Just another chance to slag of Queen and all the members.

It's all very well coming out against the guardian, but don't you think it's fair to say they've got a point? I mean, after all-there are those of us who don't think that the spectacle of Freddie Mercury in full flow will ever be beaten, least of all by Paul Rodgers. I have a lot of admiration for both Brian and Roger, but for me it's just endangering the memory of one of the world's truly great bands. Queen's live legacy is so far untouched, and the magic tour concerts stand alone as queen's last live performances, how on earth are they going to top those now without freddie and with 20 years of changing music scenes to cope with?

For all those loyal fans who still want to hear those songs, buy the cd, buy the dvd, watch and listen to the way they were meant to be delivered.
