In the book is there anything that is nasty in it? I want to read it, be my parents won't let me.

It's pretty tame in relation to what is out there nowdays.

No, nothing nasty at all. Just a heartfellt story of a love-affair. The part in which Freddie dies is pretty heavy though...

Extremely heavy- especially the bit about teddy bear...

It was Freddie's bone-breaking that hit me most... Poor guy...

Jim does discuss his sex life w/ Freddie in detail...that might bother them a bit.

He does? Holy shit..how do you miss that!? *slaps self on head* I can't remember reading about that. Funny thing was even though I knew he was going to die I still shed a tear.
