I just read Jim Hutton's 'Mercury and Me' and there was absolutely no mention of Freddie's relationship with Mary Austen. Maybe he was just jealous of her...but I'm curious. We're Mary and Freddie really together?

Oh hell Jim was jealous of Mary. The guy is just simply full of shit.
He claims that Freddie died in his arms, while everybody says that Freddie died not too long after being bathed, and taken back to his bed.

I just read that Jim said Freddie peed his pants, and while he was changing him, he just died...that is a bit weird, I agree...
That does sound weird.
It's so sad that details of life and death of the man becomes an interesting fairy story for some people.
