I need to know which song came out first, "we will rock you" or "fat bottom girls?" Have an issue with a dj who told me "we will rock you" was too old to play; and a couple of days later he played "fat bottom girls".
Sorry... it's only a slight difference but that DJ basically is right:

WWRY 1977
Fat Bottomed Girls 1978

We Will Rock you was on the "News of the World" album which was their 6th album and Fat Bottomed Girls wasn't till Jazz which was till one or two albums later. Also We will rock you came before Freddie's Mustache!
Oh take me, take me, take me I'm your play-thing now!
Buy We Will Rock You will never get old..it's classic!
We Will Rock You was released on 7 October 1977 and charted at no.2 in the UK charts.

Fat Bottomed Girls was released on October 13th 1978 and charted at no.11

Thank you all. You are right Mathew; especially when they often play Jimmy Hendrix's "Purple Haze" often.

Oh I SO beg to differ. The radio's milked it for all it's worth, and as far as the studio version goes, I can only hear it once every couple months.
Give us the right key, f#@! sakes...
I would rather prefer the fast version... that one is not really known by the general public, is it?
2+2=5
Allright, maybe often is an exageration. I just have a very personal issue with this person -- and wanted to make sure about when the song(s) were released. I really shouldn't use such a great band like Queen to make a point that has nothing to do with music.
