Morientes is a great player, but is now coming down from his peak and it seems odd that he's older than the player he replaces.
I apologise for not noticing the rest of the longest injury list in the world ever, but I stopped looking for Liverpool's results after their sixth defeat which ruled them out of the title race. Everton, before Xmas.
Imaginative jibe about Rooney, but let's compare them when Rooney's got to Morientes' age. Morientes may still have had the better career, but I can't see Liverpool being any more than a footnote.

Whatever has happened to England rugby team? They've lost their 4th 6 nations game ina row. Wales on the otherhand gave an amazing display of rugby against france to beat them in Paris.

Wales were brilliant against France especially second half!!! It's just a case of England being bad loosers and not talking about it as they're a shadow of the team that won the World Cup.
Everybody wants to beat England in all major team sports....colonial past, being superior and thinking they're the best in everything when in fact they're not!
