Which Queen song do you think if covered by any band or artist these days and realesed as a single would make it to the number one spot ?

personally i think I want to break free with all the publicity its getting from the Coke commercial.
that's enough about me, now, what do you think of me ?
I think people should write their own songs instead of covering other peoples material
"On the first day Pim & Niek created a heavenly occupation. Pim & Niek blessed it and named it 'Loosch'." (Genesis 1:1)
I don't mind bands/artists covering other songs, if they can do it justice - I think it is a great tribute to the original artists. Freddie's version of "The Great Pretender" is excellent and very fitting.

I think that any covered song could do well if it is done well - even one which would never have done well if Queen had released it. Also, getting to number one is as much (well more) about publicity than talent or quality.

If Mustapha, for example, was covered by say Westlife or Blue, mixed with some strange hiphop beat and promoted to all the teenie boppers then it probably would get to number one.
;-P
That'd be ace, but it'd have to be a certain kind of song by a certain kind of artist. Robbie Williams could take something like Jealousy, or Dear Friend to no1 easily, I reckon. Or, likewise, a rockier song would need some idiots like Busted or McFly, and it'd go. The thing is, if the songs are good, then that's forever-and Queen's material is brilliant. You'd have to work pretty hard to totally ruin a good queen song.
