I can play this, Another One Bites the Dust, and We Will Rock you on the piano :D I really can't give you all the notes for Bohemian Rhapsody, but what I can do is suggest a program called 'Limewire'. Search it on Google/Yahoo for Bohemian Rhapsody, and simply print off the music :D

Or get Powertab, from powertabs.net. Highly suggested, though it's more for guitar players. You still can get the staffed notes, though.

YAY someone who is playing bo rhap. Anyway sorry i don't have time to answer you now, but i'll get back to u ASAP. lol i have like about 100 different scores of it which i have been and still am dissecting trying to get it just right. its really a delight to play, especially the little "cross-over" sections after the intro lol!

OK well i've got a minute so here's the first few bars of the most accurate score i have found. It's basically the piano you hear on the final cut, tho if u mean the *actual* piano backing track intro that u hear in the studio version with brian may, then that's not on this score, i'll have to consult another one and get back to you. the score above ^^ tho, the one with the link, i think that intro looks more or less like the right chords? anyway i hope this helps!

Supernova, with regards to that above segment of the score I posted:

I'm still not sure what you mean by intro, *but* i took a listen to the GVH1 dvd 2 where u can hear the piano backing track, and this is what the intro is (assuming hte starting key is Bb major...if not, just transpose it). Also I'm not too sure what your knowledge of chords etc. is so I'm just going to give u all the notes. U can adapt it a bit or whatever, but this is basically what I heard:

LH..................RH

G octave............D+G+B x 4
(hold)................D --> G+B+D* --> D
F# octave...........F#+A X 2 --> D* --> A
E octave............E+G X 3 --> B --> G --> E
D octave............A+D+F# --> G --> A --> D`

(* this D is in the next octave up)
(` this D is lower)

immediately after that last D, it runs straight into the segment of the score i posted above (i.e. the lower B 8ve and B,D,F# on right hand) Basically the above set of chords is that first little bit which is played *verY* softly (u cant even hear it in the final cut, all u hear is "is this the real life...etc.)

Anyway I hope this is what you wanted, if you need anything else give me a shout! and good luck with bo rhap!

Bohemian Rhapsody is not a piece for beginners. For a start, the Key Signature is Bb (B flat - 2 flats), it then changes to A for the opera section and then to Eb later in the Opera Section.
There are also time signature changes from 4:4 time to 2:4 (briefly) and later to 6:8 time.
Finally you also have the crossover of the hands for the Bb, Gm, Cm section at the start of the song making it extra difficult.

If you are looking for some suggestions for easy songs for learning piano / keyboards the following might be useful ;

* Flash ( Chords Used : Am, G, F, C, A, Dm, Dmaj, E)

* I Want to Break Free (Chords Used : A, B, E, C#, F#sus4, F#)

* A Kind of Magic (Chords Used : A, B(9), Dmaj7, F#m7, D, E)

All fairly easy tempo and key wise.

If you are still interested in the Bohemian Rhapsody chords, I have some chords and information on my site which might explain it better : http://music.shanemcdonald.org/tab-q-nato-bohemian-rhapsody.html

Best of Luck !

Go to www.freepianosheets.com and go to the sheets page you can download the music from there. It's almost exactly like on the record on the record which I think you're after.

The intro's really simple btw but it gets a bit harder in the opera section

There is a guy from the UK that has posted a good version of this and some other queen tunes.

I have asked him to record an overhead shot and he said he post one soon

I find a discussion like this sort of a waste of time for the simple fact that this sheet music can be downloaded for free, if you do some digging around.

Try www.4shared.com

thanks, but does that mean you only do the left hand notes and then the right hand, also what is meant by Bb, is that both B's or just the black key. and are the octaves the black keys?
cheers

Right. Take lessons first, because apparently you do not know how a piano works.

The actualy piano part is included in the full score found in the Greatest Hits: Off the Record book, which is out of print, but available on eBay. It's really the greatest book of popular sheetmusic I've ever seen.

Thanks! I'm trying to look for it now.
