I just want to convey my praise for the song "IT'S LATE." I think it is one of the best songs ever written. (YES, EVER.) Why has it never been number one anywhere? It should be the #2 of BEST QUEEN SONGS! It is the only song I could get some of my anti-Queen friends to like.

It's Late was always #1 on my top five Queen songs list for years and years...Then suddenly, possibly from the over-exposure I had given it, it slipped to #2, behind Breakthru...But it has always been a gem to me...It never fails to get me to play drums on my dashboard while driving...Great song, and has all the Queen trademarks....

I agree a brilliant song and one of my fav's aswell it gives me goosebumps even huming it, the lyric's are fabulous darling.
It's so good because Freddie really does sound like he's "Bleeedin deep inside" when he's singin that line.
For me, It's Late is one of their best songs. It's such a great rock song, and it's definitely too underrated.
It's a brilliant song. I don't know that it really needs the fast bit, to be honest, but it's a wonderful song, on a sometimes disappointing album.
I believe the best part of the song is the 'It's late - yes I know, but don't try and tell me that it's too late' line. It's a classic. Call and response, I believe it's called.
Brilliant sopng. But Queen has so many of them. I mean what if Teo Torriate would have been released as a worldwide single? or Mustapha or Stone Cold Crazy or Sheer Heart Attack?

They have so many great songs which were never released as singles. The number one voted song which should have been released as a single and wasn't is.......drum roll....

Best song on 'News Of The World'. Possibly one of the best Queen songs ever, but without a doubt one of their best live songs.

When I first listened to News Of The World I was just a standard Queen fan (classic hits and little more), ans It's Late hit me and conquered me from first moment! I wondered how could such a great song not be worldwide famous like other Queen numbers!
I love that song, but I have so many other favourites that it actually doesn't rate too high on my list. Still, it's great, and I'd probably agree that it's the best on News of the World
