You know, maybe we should just bring them back. I still feel rather embarrassed that this board couldn't even manage to function with such a trivial thing as post counts. Are we THAT petty?

To be honest, I think it's good that the post counts are gone. I couldn't shake the idea that people were posting crap to up their post count ("Just going to the toilet, back in 5 minutes guys") and while I missed it to begin with I hardly notice anymore. I know whose posts are worth reading and whose aren't.
Having said that, it might be nice to bring back registration dates just so that newbies know the people who have been around longer. We could celebrate QZ anniversaries along with birthdays - instead of postcount decimal anniversaries!
