"Fear and Loathing" is one of my favorite books/movies.

I'm very sad about Sandra. She has been my favorite actress since about '96. I must admit, though, I was wondering when her time would come, since she was getting up in age and a little because she dealt with anorexia for all of her young adult life and she was an alcoholic (and dependent on drugs) for much of her life. I certainly wasn't surprised at the cause of death.

She brought me a lot of joy through her movies.

There was actually a third death yesterday. . . John Raitt, Bonnie's father and a huge Broadway star in his day. He was the original Billy Bigelow in Carousel on Bway. I guess it's true when they say these things happen in threes.

I was just going to post that as well... What a crappy weekend.
