Hi i found an old video tape of a home movie from ages ago and would like to put it onto disc using my pc.
Can anyone give me any pointers on what i need to do or get etc ....Thanks.

You can try putting it to harddisc first, but that'll leave you with some qualityloss. Indeed the best way to do it is to buy a stand-alone dvd-recorder
cheers for your help , i think it may be cheeper to go with the tv card option like barry says... but thanks everyone else anyhow.
if u buy dvd recorder and a video combie you can transfer vids on to dvd thats what i do its great 2 have budapest and rio on dvd
