COURIER: Would you have ever thought for playing again under the name Queen in the Viennese town hall?
BRIAN MAY (guitar): That was never planned. I had already copied my Queen life off our "incoming goods want skirt of You" musical.
But then an invitation came to the 50-Jahre-Fender-festival, and there I played coincidentally also with Paul Rodgers. I have the volume of this

and we also only a certain number of concerts in series to play can, in order to preserve Pauls voice. But we plan some
Open air concerts in the summer.

Why is bassist John Deacon missing?
Naturally it would be beautiful, if it were with our route comeback thereby. But it selected now times the musical retirement. There can

Freddie!

Without Freddie Mercury and John Deacon - some critics call this Queen route Mogelpackung.
That is Queen, because Roger Taylor and I are Queen! It concerns to us thereby only the music. We know that we together with Paul Rodgers very much
good music to make know. Very good skirt music, something, which is missing to the Musik-Business anyhow for a long time. And to it itself the critics should
please! The fans do what the advance booking proves.

Will Paul Rodgers be thereby an only singer?
No, also Roger and I will take over vowel parts. And also Freddies voice will sometimes ring out.

Will one hear also your all-largest hit, "Bohemian Rhapsody"?
That is a very difficult decision, which we did not make yet. Because this Song is Freddies baby much too much. Finally
it must decide Paul whether it wants to sing the piece. But fortunately we do not only have this a hit. That most difficult venture up
this route is not called: What do we play? Separate: What don't we play? But we become already clearly more Queen than Free and
Bath company Songs play.

They were not for 19 years any more with Queen on route. To which Songs do you look forward at most?
"universe right Now" and "Can't GET Enough OF Your Love" and all the other Songs of Paul Rodgers! Because now also the Songs from its
grandiosen career to play, that is real the stretching at this route. That is many more exciting than our Songs. But discover by Paul
I straight many Queen Songs completely again. And also Freddie was me already for a long time no longer as close by it as in the last days.

Is this route now the worthy parting the volumes Queen - or a new beginning?
That will not run with security as our parting tour. This co-operation with Paul Rodgers opens so many new for us
Possibilities. It will give further concerts, also in the USA, where we played 1982 last. And also again new music. Perhaps
we already play or other fire-new Song on this route.

Right now, I just can't imagine what we can expect the next few years;
- a new studio cd
- a live cd and dvd of the 2005 tour
- MTV Icon? :D
- an another tour in about 3 years or so?
- and now everything seems possible; maybe some news about Deacy? ;)

Are they gonna be that big again, that we will see videoclips of them again? .. Will they have a new number 1 hit? .. who knows :D

Queen's come-back is certainly bigger than I would've expected when we first heard the news, last year..

There are some kind people around. That's the whole point of having constructive and meaningful discussions! This Brian may interview gives us an insight as what to expect from the tour....some of which has been clarified rather than leaked.

As a UK citizen, I find myself agreeing more with people who are not from the UK for some reason!!!.....

jeroen there are no problems for me about the Queen logo and the Queen name on tour ;) i was the first buyer of the Milano ticket :D

The thing with using internet "free translators" is that the translation is VERY loose, and often makes no sense. For example, this translation:

Makes no significant sense, it's just loosely what the German translate to, in a fashion. Trust me, those online translation pages are not worth relying on.

Hey, for me neither Lorenzo.
I understand how 'things' work in the musicbusiness. ;-) (And I'm not going to see a tour six times when I don;t agree on stuff! ;-)
What I meant, is that I was amazed that Brian himself said this in this way. I had not expected that.

I appreciate your effort Garden Lodge but that translation was so broken up and at some parts hard to follow its not funny..........good try though.......Peace
