i have to write an essay for my music and society course and i wanted to be able to include queen on it but i need a nice concise topic that i can do justice to in 10 pages...i don't want it to be solely about queen i'd just like to incorporate them of course :D so, if anyone has any ideas AT ALL plz share

Well, if it is about music and society then I guess you could possibly discuss the effects that certain bands have had on society with their music or something of that nature.
2 words: Live Aid
The apartheid musicians embargo could be another topic, and it includes Queen.
Although it's probably the most criticized moment of their careers.
I like the Live Aid topic better, because it was an event that opened the eyes to many people through music.
