Just some interesting facts about what freddie spent some of his fortune on :
the prices have been updated with inflation for today
perfume for every woman he knew - £13,500 per bottle
£135,000 on entertainment at a party
one party cost - £540,000
including £81,000 spent on champagne and £65,000 of cocaine at the same party
on one shopping trip - £67,500 on antiques
a 144 piece dinner set with each serving plate costing £54,000 so for the 12 plates thats £648,000!
garden lodge - around £5million on today's prices, paid in cash!
and he bought houses worth £10m 4 10 of his friends
his estate is valued at roughly £80m ($144m)
in dollars that is $24,300 on perfume
$243,000 on entertainment
1 party - $972,000
champagne - $145,800
cocaine - $117,000
dinner plate - $97,200
set of dinner plates - $1,166,400
garden lodge - $9m
houses for friends - $18m

Now that is some SERIOUS spending!

So he spent £100k on cocaine did he? I reckon you'd need to double that to find his annual spend.

How can you POSSIBLY believe this kind of rubbish?

he spent wot today would be the equivalent of 65,000 on cocaine at one party, not for personal use , it was for everybody. you know.. generosity

whatabout the famous party he had in the early 80's costing a million pounds and that was back then, hired concorde for all his friends 50k worth of champagne was drank on the plane alone as everyone got off the plane they each got a £1000.00 cartier watch and the party lasted for over 5days in newyorks top hotel, you dont ever hear of partys like that anymore!! :)

Some of this information must have come from the Liquid Assets program.

And that was pretty unreliable...

actually NONE of this info came from liquid assets, i got it all from a few books on freddie that say the same figures in each book!

Let's ask Brian May to pay for the party. It would be his act of gratitude to us for being his fans. I'm sure he will like the idea. What do you think? PS. We can invite him too - what the hell!
