Rod Stewart May 17th

Southside Johnny if he comes up here in the autumn again
Anything else that catches my eye, mostly local gigs in smallish venues.

1. QUEEN + PAUL RODGERS
Still waiting for the news of whether they will tour the U.S. or not. Thanks to the good sales in Europe, the U.S. tour is a most likely reality. So I'm crossing my fingers.
2. GREEN DAY
2005 is the year of Green Day. 'American Idiot' is without a doubt one of the greatest albums ever. European dates are already set for the summer, so I would imagine a U.S. most likely will happen during the fall.
3. JUANES
For those who are into latin music, you might probably know him. He's an incredibly talented musician and songwriter. I'm going to his concert this Friday at the Garden here in New York.
4. U2
Although I'm quite dissapointed about the Vertigo Tour fiasco, I hope that for the fall tour dates they will learn from their own mistakes. However I won't be willing to pay 40% more for the same seats I paid for during the Elevation Tour (2001). The floor seats are $55, so if I can't get those I'd rather not go at all and avoid being ripped off.

why the u2 tour is a fiasco?
*snif, snif*
I wish I was attending a Queen+ Paul Rodgers tour... BUT, maybe a miracle will happen, and they will come to Brazil!!!! :D :D :D

I have to save money for a huge holiday that I'm planning for the summer so I can't afford many gigs but what I'm definitely WON'T miss is U2 in June!
I am going to see the Killers on May 10th - YAY!
And Tickqueener has already bought two tickets to see Green Day in May as well.
Also I will most likely see Queen + Rodgers, although I am assuming I will have to travel. I may see other concerts along the way, depends who it is.

Well I've already seen Dallas Crane and will probably see Cake...whenever they play here. Soon, I believe.
I'm actually going to a concert for the first time in my LIFE!
Well, I'm going to a Bob Dylan concert...
...with my dad.
*edit* Not that that's a BAD thing.

Already been to Rod Stewart on 15 February - for a guy who's just turned 60 DAMN he still got it!!
Bryan Adams tomorrow night - so looking forward to it
Hoping to also see Mark Knopfler
I know he's not music but Billy Connolly is apparently going to tour in either November or December down under and since I've seen him live before I don't want to miss out on seeing him again - he is soooooooooo funny!!
And of course STILL waiting to here if our lads are coming to Oz - would be severely disappointed if they didn't.........
