It's great! I actually read the entire book....at Borders Books & Music where I bought it, the same day in the store, in thier music book lounge area.

And I have re-read a few parts because it is written I think with alot of insightful information, as well as affection and regard to the band.

If you want trash or tabloid stuff, (which I DON'T) this is NOT for you as it is very respectful. No dirt.

--It only contains what I want to know.--

--which is...How did these 4 seemingly everyday ordinary guys, become, to put in the words of my favorite movie that is also...a Biography of Thomas Edward Lawrence in the film "Lawrence Of Arabia", --

---How did they all become---

--Extraordinary---

--and that is what this book does in showing the Genesis early years of these Fab 4, their childhoods, their youthful artistic/musical formative years and influences, their music and bands prior to Queen, how they met, how they formed Queen, the earliest days of Queen as they were just beginning to find themselves artistically, and as a 4 piece ensemble of not 1, 2, or 3, but of 4 creative individuals who each offered an essential, significant element to the whole quotient.--

--And the rest as they say is....history....---

Ohhh I think I've read that one. If it's the same one it is good and has a decent photo section as well.
When life hands you lemons, add vodka.
Yeah, there are some nice early black and white photos in the middle section of the book.
