Hi there i've just watched laws again from start to finish that's including disc2 and i have to say what a fantastic dvd it really is.
In particular the parts i like are the rehearsals for the magic tour i sat there watching it in awe and then i thought i wonder if the stage that they were using was the one that they used in "friends will be friends" or very similar anyway any ideas?.
Also the friday concert clips are good shows the band relaxed and having fun "tutti frutti" prime example i was there on the first night and it was a great gig not even the outpouring of rain stopped us having a good time,it's such a shame there's no more footage from the friday gig or is there???.
One last thing what do you think about the version of "a kind of magic" from the highlander film i think it's quite superior to the orignal version and gives it something extra that's not on the normal version what do you guys think?

That Sounds Good I Have Wembley Stadium DVD too Seen The Live Show, but have yet to see the second disc, so will go and watch it later.
I love LAWS, it just makes me feel good!
The friday stuff is good, although I think that the songs in general are better on the actual night on disc 1. Tutti Frutti's always a joy though, at budapest too.
I was quite interested to hear Freddie say that Roger had done "magic" in a completely different way, and then he nicked it and re-arranged it for a week to give it the sound we all know now and presumably love-I wonder what Roger's original was like?

There is an early demo of A Kind of Magic availible somewhere I think. Maybe someone else knows where it is exactly.
Brian's soloing was far less restrained n the first night - they cetrtainly weren't as exciting for the filmed night. That may be do do with the fact that they KNEW they were being filmed for Channel 4 and needed to be as tight and as faithful to the studio material as they could be.
I'm not sure how much footage exists from the Friday as I believe what's included on the DVD were camera tests for the following night, but I'd have prefered the Friday to have been released in full instead.
Or have had the Friday audio released as Live at Wembley and the DVD as was the video.

1) The original can be heard during the closing credits of Highlander.
2) It may have filmed for Channel 4 but it was filmed by Tyne Tees TV (ITV)
