I go for the short fat Italian -American-Japanese Plumber guy. The games which bear his name have been some of the most groundbreaking in history, from the level designs down to the controls (especially Mario 64).
Sonic games were good for a quick blast, but couldn;t come close to Mario in depth and scope.

i'd say thay both shood win you no. becouse sonic is fast as hell and he could becoum super sonic with the master emerounds, but mario coud be a racoon,bear,frog,hamerbro,metle,inviseble,could fly,throught fire balls,be biger, and be invinceibal.*feow*. so they sould both win. but let me ask you this how will win in a race sonic or mario(in his go cart)

I am awesome at Mario Kart (first and double dash). I love Mario64, I beat it on N64, I have it now for my DS. I love all the Marios for SNES and NES. I love all the Mario Parties, but I don't know if that really counts as a Mario thing.
However, I personally think Luigi is the cooler than Mario. But Yoshi is the best. Bowser is pretty neat too.

I don't change that video game for anything in this world... not even for Halo or Doom, even though I love those games to death (no pun intended).
I love sonic and i love Mario, it's a tough decision.
