Freddie once said he hated doing the same things, but do you know any queen songs that sound similiar or alike? to me they all sound different.
Man on the prowl - Crazy little thing called love
Play the game - It's a hard life
another one bites the dust - Back chat

humm can't think of anymore ! but im sure there are some !
that's enough about me, now, what do you think of me ?
I don't no if this counts, but that sound at the end of I'm going slightly mad that sounds like something John did on the bass (If you're still lost the sound when he walks backwards up the stairs in the IGSM video) is the beginning of under pressure backwards. Believe me, I tried.
That time will come, one day you'll see, when we can all be friends.
Also a couple of Brian songs :

Save me Save me Save me
I want it all i want it all i want it all
white man white man white man
Keep your self alive keep your self alive
It's late It's late It's late
Dancer Dancer Dancer
Put out the fire put out the fire

it just irritates me how the structure of most of his songs is exactly the same..

but i still like his songs espacialy It's late, one of my favorites.
that's enough about me, now, what do you think of me ?
Put out the fire and Tear it up
The prophet's song and White man
Bring back that Leroy Brown and Seaside Rendezvous
Gimme the prize and Princes of the universe
You and I and In only seven days...maybe

Thats all that comes to my mind for the moment...
yes it was plain to see, yes it was meant to be...
Tear It Up and TYMD sound like they use the same chords in their intros. Brian and those A chords...

I rekon Nevermore and Jealousy sound slightly the same. I'm not complaining though, 2 great songs i think.
The piano line during the Mama's on BoRhap and one from eathier Breakthru or Its a Hard Life, they sound alike. I though of BoRhap when i first heard the song.
"Fuck today. Its tomorrow" - Freddie Mercury
Love Of My Life and Is This The World We Created
heyheyheyhey, it was the DNA...
My Baby Does Me and the beggining of I Guess Were Falling Out

Tear It Up and Put Out The Fire

Crazy Little Thing Called Love and Man On The Prowl

Its A Hard Life and Play The Game

Back Chat and Another One Bites The Dust

Staying Power and Dont Try Suicide

Who Wants To Live Forever and Don't Try So Hard

Party and Khashoggis' ship

My Life Has Been Saved 89 and My Life Has Been Saved 91?

Get Down Make Love and Body Language?

Brighton Rock solo and Son & Daughter solo (rec at beeb 1973)

Can't think of very many more. Sorry if some don't match eachother terribly well but i though i would have a go at seeing what sounds the same and i couldn't find an incredible amount.
Back Chat and Another One Bites The Dust?

Don't see it myself...

Anyway -

We Will Rock You/Tear It Up
Crazy Little Thing/Man On The Prowl
one vision-tie your mother down.... :P
I always thought it was a mistake to have AOBTD right after Dragon Attack, not because they're really similar, but because they both have a distinctive bassline, and it can get a bit repetitive...

Joe, I can only hope you're joking about half of those...

I think the good thing about Queen songs is that none of them sound the same. That's the only thing wrong with some bands - there's no variety.
