The longest post ever?

Queen I: 'Jesus' is just a tedious repetition of one chord (well, not really, but it feels like it). 'Seven Seas of Rhye' is pointless. And the production? GOOD GOD! Imagine the Queen II recording being produced in this way. Goodbye Top of the Pops!

Queen II: 'Funny How Love Is' is a bit better than 'Jesus', albeit with a pseudo-Spector production but ultimately... pointless and even slightly (dare I say it?) annoying.

Sheer Heart Attack: None (!)

A Night at the Opera: Again... none!

A Day at the Races: I used to like 'Teo Torriatte (Let Us Cling Together)' in my younger days, but nowadays I find it sappy. I'm not that mad about ' The Millionaire Waltz' either. I do like my Queen a bit tongue-in-cheek and camp, but this is taking it a bit far.

News of the World: I always skip 'We Will Rock You'. It's great for shouting your lungs out at ice hockey games, but not something I would put on and enjoy at home any more.

Jazz: Pardon me, Roger, but 'Fun It' and 'More of That Jazz' doesn't grab my attention at all. The ending of 'More of That Jazz' is kind of neat, though. A great way to sample the album if you don't have enough time to sit through it in its entirety.

The Game: From the top of my head: none, but if I had to pick one it would be 'Don't Try Suicide'. Horrible lyrics about a very serious matter set to happy-go-lucky pop music.

Hot Space: I hope 'Las Palabras de Amor (the Words of Love)' will crawl away and die under a rock, never to return. Ugh, that's some really dreadful lyrics. Shame on you, Brian!

I like ALL queen songs... some from Hot Space not as much... but they're all at least OK...

I'm always interested (and I'm sure there are lots of others as well) in reading other fan's comments and thoughts. The more and longer, the better, I'd say. What's pointless about stating your opinion and having different tastes? That's what make the world we're living in interesting.

And I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings. I didn't know 'Las Palabras de Amor (the Words of Merde)' was one of your favourite songs.

Oh God, you don't like Hammer To Fall????????????? It's my FAVE QUEEN SONG OF ALL TIME, especially long live version, I ADORE IT!!!!!!:)))) I think it has great lyrics AND great instrumental.. I also like White Man very much, I think it's great song, very deep, but written in a pretty simple way.
