Forgive me for not knowing much about this but is there a program where can cut and paste samples onto the pallette. A bit like the old PS1 game 'Music'. Where the samples are built in I mean.
Guess who's back?

Other worthy software:

http://www.softlab-nsk.com/ddclipro/ - Ddclip Free and a pro version

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ - Audacity, another well known piece of software.

http://www.kreatives.org/kristal/index.php?section=details - Kristal Audio Engine (A little known wonder)

http://ntrack.com/ - N-track (A popular multitrack program)

If I find anymore, I'll post them.

Peace,

Everybody post on the rapidshare website that is neither rapid nor convenient to use.

I'm not a stockholder at fileden.com but it's more rapid and easy to use : www.fileden.com

Here is a very good tip for searching for samples you may want/need:

Use this string in google = ?intitle:index.of? wav snare

And just replace snare with sample you want to find. Pretty good stuff.

Just thought I'd list an example of file hosting services that are available for mixes and anything else you'd like to post.

http://www.rapidshare.com (Files up to 100MB)
http://www.savefile.com (Files up to 60MB)
http://s1.quicksharing.com
http://www.mediafire.com (Files up to 100MB)
http://www.box.net/

If you feel you have another file hosting service to add, please do!

Reaper - http://www.reaper.fm/

Inexpensive, useful even for professional production.

Cheers!
