Any tennis players or coaches here?

I have been playing tennis for about seven years now. At this moment I practise 10-15 hours a week. I also do about five hours of physical training. How about you? Any other mad ;-) people here?

I also coach every now and then and I would be happy to discuss drills and stuff with other coaches.

And finally, YES, I have registered to some tennis forums. I was just thinking it would be cool to talk to other tennis fanatics who like Queen.

I play tennis a bit in the summertime and will most likely play quite a lot this summer b/c my sister is moving into an apartment building that has tennis courts on the grounds. I'm not all that good, though, although I like playing. :)

I also enjoy watching tennis. I especially enjoy watching the Grand Slams every year.

I love watching it. And I love playing it. But I suck :)

I'm from the country where Kournikova, Sharapova, Myskina, Safin etc. were born, but I don't play tennis at all... Shame on me!

Yeah, and how many of them are in the tabloids ;-)

It's very popular sport in Russia for last 10 years, maybe that's why our girls are so good now.

Except for Kournikova of course.

I play tennis on a strictly fun basis. I'm not particularly good because I'm not sure if I'm left or right handed but I enjoy it.

If you can play (and especially serve) with your left hand, you should do it. Gives you a huge advantage.

Well I do this stupid 'move' (as I call it) where, in the ball's mid-flight, I throw the raquet from my right to left in order to get to the ball. I used to do it in table-tennis and it got carried onto big tennis.
