Brixton - Queenzone meet up.

As its only two weeks now: Might even see a couple of people that went to The Cock, Hackney in 2001!

If anyone has a more suitable venue for a meetup suggest it, however, I would suggest a pub called 'The Canterbury Arms' which is a two minute walk from the academy. I'll give directions if suitable numbers are interested, if not, then I'll just sit with my pint of 1664 by myself!
Not Weatherspoons though, it's too small, horrible atmosphere and shite basically.

I'll come along too and sink a few beers with you zoners. I'm pretty sure i went to the Canterbury prior to Avril Lavigne show a year or so ago and Ian Dury and the Blockheads many, many years before that. Anyone want to meet up in Paris, Rotterdam, Hamburg or Budapest too?

Mcm - yes, some of us will be in Budapest too, we can meet there.

3pm ish sounds fine although as Eggy mentions, I'm not sure if my liver can take too much abuse at my age. Might have a couple of beers followed by some Tea chasers. Have you booked a hotel in Budapest yet Mr Scully?

Mcm - I hope a fellow Queen collector will let me stay in his Budapest flat! :-) I'm more worried about where to stay in Brixton.

(Me and a friend will arrive as early as Saturday and are planning a Queen tour of London and lots of beer to drown our nerves! ;-)
