No I have not because as far as I know, they're never in Chicago :-(
Why have the submissions slowed down? I really like hearing fan versions of these songs... too bad I don't have the equipment to record my guitar...

Well. . I can only speak for myself and my band Crossed Hearts. . . another cover is in the works but I have to finish a lot of the projects I'm producing for other artists first. . . but overall I think the fan covers standards have been increasing.
Me and Niek have worked on a cover of Love Of My Life (himself on all instruments and me on vocals). I've just got to add a final vocal (strongly considering backing vocals, too) before I'm totally satisfied (I'm very much a perfectionist).
