Having been a solo parent for 15 years until I got remarried two years ago, I tried consistently to be fair and honest with my ex-partner and have a reasonable relationship for the sake of the children and wasn't one of these women who have the attitude they will bleed their ex-partners dry. Now I have to deal with my husband's ex-wife who is one of these women who not only tries to bleed him dry but milk the government for every last cent she can get instead of getting off her bum and working full time like I did to support my kids. There is no reason why she can't work full time as the kids are 9 and 12 and are at school. Having had friends in the past and now my husband who are in these situations on the whole there are some decent dads out there who want to do the right thing but are getting completely shafted by the courts and their ex-wives.
