somebody to love: i thought oh my god this song is amazing, freddies piano, his singing ther're all singing... this song is amazing!!!
Innuendo, it left me totally breathless! I couldn't listen to anything else for a while, I was so stunned.
We're only living in our dreams in Another World -- Brian May
"Somebody To Love" originally was my favorite song...years later it would be "These Are The Days Of Our Lives". STL I thought was so meaningful, emotional,(yet sad). You could hear Freddie's emotion and conviction all through the song. I thought his voice, his piano playing, and the soaring gospel like crescendo of Freddie's voice and the song were all amazing.

I think I was about 15 years old in High School here in the USA when STL was released here, and I saw Freddie & Queen perform it on "The Midnight Special" TV program here.

I loved that song for almost 2 decades as #1 (and still love it) until TATDOOL was released which then became #1, and I cried the first time I heard that, released here in the USA 1991 0r 1992 right after Freddie passed. I just thought about Freddie passing...and what the world had lost, and that I had lost one of my musical heroes, who still in the end, had left us with yet another beautiful song.

The Show Must Go On, "Oh, it's gonna be my favourite song!"
The first time I heard Jealousy, I didn't think it was anything special...but after a few more listens, I thought it was beautiful. And has remained a firm favourite.
"But I'm A Star, Dear Boy"
"The Show Must Go On" is my favorite song. The first time I heard it, It became my favorite... Then I played it for about an hour and a half on repeat. :P
"Elton John and I became really good friends. I don't mean 'good friends' in that sense. I just mean we slept together." -Billy Joel
Bohemian Rhapsody..."wow...this song is so different and crazy...I LOVE IT!" heh...but after i listened to it like a million times it finally makes perfect sense to me. and Somebody to Love... i was so amazed and relieved that an emotion like that could be packed into a 4 min. and 58 sec. song and yet still express that single desperate emotion to the point where you can actually relate to it (and feel bad for the person it is talking about ^.^)! it is, in my opinion, one of Queen's many songs that are so beautiful and heart-rending that it actually puts a teary smile and your face and leaves you begging for more! ;)
Freddie Mercury is my sexi moon lobster "Mis francais est la meme que before. C'est un peu crap"-Brian May "I'm just a musical prostitute, my dear!" -Freddie Mercury
One Vision - wow, this song is so cool, it can make me feel good anytime !

TATDOOL - this song is so sad, and emotional. i can listen to it over and over again, and just drift away.
That time will come, 1 day youll see, when we can all be friends
Bohemian Rhapsody - the song was so different and added to that the video.

Then STL was released and I was hooked.
Keep Good Company
