When the set was released the fall/winter of 2000, there were several US websites that offered it. I bought mine from CDUniverse for $120. Since then, I doubt you could find any American retailer offering it short of ebay or Amazon auctions.

As mentioned earlier, the QOL shop is your most reliable choice, albeit a price-gouging one at that.

And glad to see there are other interview lovers out there, Janet. Most fans just want that fancy music.

I recall the David Wigg interview to have a lot of background noise and difficult to listen to or understand. Of course if my memory is faulty I'l blame it on not listening to the interview in over four years.

I loved the interview disc, too.

They are pretty rough sounding, Rip, but when you consider how rarely Freddie gave interviews, that disc is a virtual treasure trove.

And I always knew there was a reason we kept Miss James around here.

And why sell a huge Freddie collection to the USA? Even in the most die-hard center of Queendom, the Freddie box set was a luxury that many Queen fans ignored.

I have all of the press reviews of the Complete FM Solo Collection, (which I have NEVER seen in the USA, and I do Not own...yet), and the reviews state that the Interview CD/DVD makes the collection worth buying alone just for that.

I love interviews, and the review gives snippets of quotes from Mary Austin, Columbia Records President Walter Yetnikoff who signed Freddie for his solo work, colleagues, journalist David Wigg, etc.

...and from what I hear...interviews with the man himself, Freddie!!

I would love to hear their and Freddie's anecdotes, memories, and especially, their and Freddie's informative insights into the artistry and complexity of Freddie's genius and personality.

I don't want to buy the wrong thing. Currently I only own a REGULAR CD player, I DON't own a DVD player or the new CD players that play that New technology Super Sound whatever...
