It seems this song isn't that popular among you guys. But it is very popular in my country(Japan) and was used for TV commercial and the theme song of a drama several times. Some more the song is very popular choice at wedding parties(grooms sing for their brides!) What's your opinion?

Speaking about Freddie's solo love songs, I prefer "Love me like there's no tomorrow".

I really love this song and even started a small-ish cover last year for someone's engagement party. But I didn't have it done in time... :( But man, it rocks.

Peace,
Adam.

I like it, especially the Made In Heaven version. I think it's one of Freddie's best solo songs.
Resistance is futile. You are now an orb.

Even mini-CD with Queen's version of this song was released in Japan as a single. I have it, there's beer advert on the sleeve :)

Oh,really. How you did you get that? At music store or through internet order? I am a bit curious since you live in Moscow(I saw your profile) I remember the song came up for a TV advert of a cosmetic company for the first time. Yes, the last one is for the beer company.

Here in Brazil it is very popular too, because it was used by Rede Globo in the soap "A Gata Comeu", throughout the year of 1985.

I love it! It's one of my all-time favorite songs! :D

At music store for collectors - there are such stores in Moscow where you can buy some very rare releases.

There's another demo version which is not on Freddie's box set and it sounds very strange!

Check it for download: http://www.meddows.com/multimedia/

Ah yes, I remember that demo from long, long ago. MOST interesting, to me. Like someone was standing nearby, recording, while someone played with and soloed the tracks. Nice.

Shame about the high pitched tape, but it's still really cool.

Peace,
Adam.

"I was born to love you" is a great song!! Both the solo and the Queen release are awesome...

I hope they would release the song internationally that would be great...

Does anybody have a link in which we can see the Japanese Television Ad that features the song??
"I don't have no time for no monkey business..."
