Returning to the Kerry Ellis track "No One But You" on Queen Online, there is actually a small quicktime movie of an interview with her.

http://queenonline.com/kerryellisdownload/

Now I can play the interview OK, but how do I save it?

There are only two options - to watch in low or high resolution, but if I right click my mouse over either - all I can save is the web-page.

So for PC numpties like myself - how do I save this interview?

I've just watched the video and after viewing it, it was automatically saved into my temporary internet files folder.

In my case I have to copy a file from that folder to another folder before closing internet explorer because else the folder will be emptied.

to make it easier for you (that means everybody who's interested) I've uploaded the file onto my site. There's no link on the site itself but here you should find it: http://www.mercuryparadise.com/kerry512K_Stream001.mov

right-click the link and choose "save target".

Rien - you are a genius.

Thank you.

So why can't Queen Online make it as simple?

They don't want you to save it - which is why its "streamed"

But there are plenty of ways around these things.

Thanks Rien for the file!

Rien: I have good news and better news!
The good news is that I right-clicked on your link - and I was able to save the Interview that way.

(This was neat as I now have a folder complete with the "No One But You" MP3, artwork and both the Brian May and Kerry Ellis quicktime interviews).

So for all I have said so far - Thank you.

However, the better news is that I followed your instructions as described above, and I was able to save the interview that way also.

This means that you have taught me how to save "streaming media" - and that is a very useful skill to know. Now it may not seem much to some, but for me, it is positively epiphinal!!

Perhaps I am not so numptyish after all!!!

Be aware that not all streaming media will be saved this way. Such as the 46664 concert. That just was streaming, but not saved. To save that I used the software WM-Recording.

so it doesn't always work that easy.

For saving streaming RealAudio/Video files there's another way - you have to save link to streaming file on your computer and then open it with Notepad for getting the link to the file which can be saved and then download it (that's how some people saved 'One Night Stand' from Roger's website). Though it doesn't work in some cases...
