What do you live in a cave? Buddy Guy has toured with Eric Clapton, Rod Stewart, released a ton of records, and Clapton has said for decades now that Buddy Guy is Clapton's favorite and the Best guitar player living, and Buddy Guy was just inducted in the USA Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in March.
Double Trouble is/was Stevie Ray Vaughan's band...and they still record and tour...this past year with...Buddy Guy, and John Mayer.
Doyle Bramhall II Has Been in Eric Clapton's band for about 5 years now recording on Clapton's last 2-3 records, and Bramhall has also toured and recorded with Roger Waters, B.B King, Sheryl Crow. He also was in the supergroup The Arc Angels which just reunited and he's put out a ton of records solo and with the Arc Angels.
Tuck Andress is a big guitar player in the duo Tuck & Patti (with his wife Patti Cathcart) and have put out tons of records.
Derek Trucks has been playing with The Allman Brothers Band for years now, he is the nephew of their drummer Butch Trucks, and Derek has his own band and has released about 5 records already and has toured with Bob Dylan, Jorma Kaukonen, etc.
Chris Thomas King is a BIG blues artist who HIT BIG in Europe, before he hit big in his own native USA, has several records and ACTED in the film, "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" and in Martin Scorcese's Documentary about the blues.
Jeff Healey had released a ton of records...
Seriously, have you been living in a cave? really, tell me you're not serious..only joking?

Me neither, but I guess that's because I'm not really into traditional blues despite their influence into popular rock n' roll.
Cool interviews though, congratulations!
Btw, How old are you Arlene? and how long have you been into music journalism?
Jeff Healey was that Blind Guitarist.. I remember him.. Can't recall what movie he was in.. my mind keeps saying Howard The Duck.. but that can't be right..
Great interviews by the way

Yep, "Roadhouse" with Patrick Swayze who played a bouncer in a bar/nightclub where everyone literally killed each other.
Jeff Healey played Swayze's friend and Healey and his band had to sit in and behind, get this, a chain link fenced cell in the club because of all the bar fights and flying glass. The movie is pure cheesy...but fun.
Healey crossed over with several BIG top 40 hits in the USA, "Angel Eyes" and "Confidence Man". I saw him OPEN for The Allman Brothers Band in 1992.
He played..yes..BLIND..with the guitar on his lap, then stood up and played with his hands like a claw for his technique. Nice guy.

Thanks! I'm an old lady 43, been in music AND arts/entertainment journalism about 16 years now.
Since you like Dark Horse Graphic Novels' new film "Sin City"...I interviewed Dark Horse writer/author/illustrator/screenwriter James O'Barr who wrote "The Crow" (produced as the late actor Brandon Lee's last film, and several sequal films, & a TV series.
Road HouseI used to act out scenes from that as a child... :|

Did you pretend to be Patrick Swayze and kick martial arts ass, or were you the evil town boss played by Ben Gazara, or were you Swayze's cool blind guitarist friend played by Jeff Healey?
