DeaconJohn's postings get a mention in Q Magazine (seriously)

Yes folks my postings on this little old website have been immortalized by a mention in Q magazine's Queen special.

Allow me to explain:

Some years ago, I decided to post up a news topic to Queenzone stating that John Deacon was going to make an appearence in 'Through the Keyhole'. It was of course, a wind up, but it was exactly the sort of thing that I could imagine John doing. I posted it under the username 'Andy_Richards'. Here is the original post:

I posted it and didn't really give any more thought to it.

However, I was standing in a newsagents earlier today, reading the Q Magazine Queen special (with no intention of buying it), when I got a little shock. On page 81, in the John Deacon biography article, it says:

"Much to Deacon watchers' chagrin, a rumoured appearence on TV's Through the Keyhole turned out to be entirely without substance."

My little wind up from years ago made it into Q!!!

Am I a brilliant or am I brilliant?!?

And this is just to prove that it was me who posted the article...

Just goes to show, a little bullshit can go a long way....

I actually meant to post this in the 'personal' section...ah well I think I'll just post it again....

The irony, of course, is that a nom de plume for a nom de plume is what got immortalized, essentially.
