It appears that releasing a three c.d. compilation set called "The Platinum Collection" is being copied by other artists after Queen did there own as well. Genesis are releasing or have released one in Europe (I don't think the U.S. and I don't know if it will get released here or not) and now it say on www.queenonline.com that David Bowie is doing one as well. I do admit I like all of them by all of these artists though! I will be ready for Queen to delete there's though as I think a better more appropriate could be done in the years ahead...

I don't own Queen's version (have all the GH Albums as stand alone version, but I do own Genesis' Platinum Collection, which is really amazing IMO, especially disc 3.

TPC woz first released in 2000, at least my copy is from 2000 when it first came out and i bought it in 2001 :)

Yes, but I was not so much in talking about the titles as the idea of doing a three c.d. compilation set! Holy smokes that is a large set for not being a box set! There are few artists that I know that have done three c.d. sets that were not boxed sets.
