Wasn't there some mention by PR of a rock version of this song being rehearsed? Or, am I dreaming?

Jeez, I hope not. It would stain the proper beauty of the delicate lyrics entwined in acoustic music. I'd be quite disappointed.

Paul Rodgers said in the interview in the Q magazine Queen special that he was looking forward to singing it.

Obviously Brian persuaded him otherwise. He'll let Andrea Corr at it but not Paul! lol

it's good that they want to do a new take on some of the songs, and i think paul rodgers is great but it would ruin the song.it's so great i don't think they should change it.

i really hope that paul doesn't sing this tune. Let Brian do his thing, Paul sux man, with that bluesy generic voice... is this the world we creaaated.. oh yeah baby is this our wooooorld.. c'mon I'll throw up if I ever listen to anything like this
