Hi, I'm sorry to sound a bit thick, but last night I downloaded my first file via a torrent, using eDonkey as my client. According to the torrent window, I have downloaded 100% of the file, but I can see no way of opening the file itself, as I was never asked where I would like to save it. I thought it might be in my eDonkey downloads file, but alas, no sign. Any ideas?
Cheers

Just search your hard drive for the name of the file you downloaded. I don't know how eDonkey works, but the client I use allows me to specify the download location in the settings.

if the program you're using did not ask you where you want to save it, it probably is somewhere in your 'temporary internet files'... instead of clickin on the link, use 'save as...' and then usually they ask you for the specific location...
the only thing to fear is running out of beer...

Cheers for that, I'll try it when I get home!
