When Freddie died, what happened to all of Freddie's Original handwritten music and lyrics, his wonderful music instruments and equipment that he owned (not rented of course).

Think about it...literally volumes of original sheet music and lyrics, his pianos, guitars, tambourines,, even his infamous microphones...

Who has all this stuff? Mary Austin, his family, Brian, Roger & John...this stuff is priceless and historic. Who has it all?

Must be nice...ahem.

You know what would be very nice. If whoever has all of Freddie's handwritten original music (that especially because it shows his vision and genius), and his music instruments, etc. I mean they can still keep it,

but put it on loan and display at some fine museum in Britain to honor Freddie, and to share such a treasured, influential, important, significant person in history and his contributions to Britain, the world, history..with the public.

I know that a LOT of stuff has been auctioned off for charity, so it'll be spread all over the place. As for big/monumental items that you speak of i reckon the people around him will be holding onto it for dear life... can't really blame them lol.

I did NOT know that some of Freddie's stuff has been auctioned off. If it's for charity..that's ok. I mean John Lennon, Stevie Ray Vaughan have had their stuff auctioned off for charity.

But I still think it would be nice for the owners of Freddie's things to put everything on loan to a museum. It's been done before with other artists where the owners retain ownership of the artist's posssions, but put them on loan at a museum.

I think ALOT of Queen & Freddie fans worldwide would love to see such an important part of history and their hearts as well.

yeah, i agree, it'd be awesome to see some of the stuff... hard to get hold of though, and those who have it would probably be pretty reluctant to let it out of their sight

Thanks, I've been on that website, but it doesn't detail what happened to Freddie's musical stuff, outside of leaving his house and estate to Mary,
