constantine couldn't hit the high notes as gracefully...he was more performance than vocal and little overdramatic. he actually looked angry u know, just pushing it a bit too much but come on, will anyone on Idol ever meet up to our standards? i was just waiting to see the message board so i can read about how everyone hated it (unsurprisingly) :P

Wrong Paul Young. The Paul Young who did that song was in Mike and the Mechanics, not the guy who butchered Radio Ga Ga.....

And he is the closest thing to freddie open your ears and stop with the bullshit about noone being like freddie because you know what once you hear someone not freddie singing a queen song you automatically think oh this will be shit

you guys are so fucking stupid. I have been a queen fan since I was a child. Constitine did it good. As good if not better than Freddie did live. It was in tune, in time and sung really really well. Freddie would have been excited and happy.

I taped it that night...I guess I could upload the video to my site one of these days if people really want it (I work at Fox and *have* to watch American Idol..at least I get paid for it ;).

He did do better than every other person I've seen attempt to do Queen on TV in the last few years, but it still wasn't very good. Woulda been cool if he had cut off his microphone stand :) And whenever they edit the song (it was 1:30), the tempo changes sound like such a jarring mess. (There was no opera section.)

God himself could come down and sing Bohemian Rhapsody on American Idol, and we would hate it. Why? Because we're used to Freddie Mercury. We like Freddie Mercuy. Not God.

We find it disgraceful that any hopefull person (Constatine) would be horrible enough to play a song that is obviously above his level. :D
