I'd faint if it was Knebworth.
I imagine this title is probably the same one as the Queen+Paul Rodgers title named for approximately the same timeframe.
If not, perhaps its Greatest Video Hits 3.
Hopefully we get both a Q+PR live DVD AND GVH3 before Christmas, but Im not holding my breath :)

Why release a show from a tour that you are just now bringing to the US? Why would Hollywood release a Q+PR DVD in order to promote a Q+PR tour? Makes no sense.

On the other hand, wouldn't it make sense to release GVH III to capitalise on the interest generated by the tour? It makes sense to me, certainly more than putting out a live dvd.

It just doesn't make a lot of sense to me. It would be great if that is what they do, but I don't see the rationale from an economic perspective.

Well I bloody hope it's GVH3. We've been waiting ages for that now - it was meant to be released in 2004!
A coupla issues back, Ice Magazine wrote that the 12/26/79 gig was being released direct from the master tapes. Outside of that article I haven't heard anything else about this.

There is only a limited number of shows the band can perform (and they do have to pay a lot of people wages for it..). They aren't going to tour in the States enough to satisfy all the fans, but if they release the show on a dvd, they can reach a lot bigger audience.

What if there is no "tour"? Do you see them doing another thirty dates in the states, or do you think they will play a handful of concerts on the east coast?
In the autumn the main (ie European) tour will be over, and they are going to release the cd/dvd to cash in from those places that weren't included on the schedule. Sadly that is going to include most of the USA as well.

Why does everyone keep saying they wish its going to be GVH3. If this was the case, why would they only be releasing it in America?
