Brian's Back To The Light and Another World are both big favorites of mine! I dont know a whole lot about Roger's stuff though......I used to have Fun In Space and I rather liked it, but thats about it...

Well the only one I haven't seen listed so far is "Mr. Bad Guy"! Well let us hope that this person's partner can afford the whole lot of them because it seems to me no one has expressed any preference to one over others! Is that because you all really think they are equally brilliant or are you just showing off a talent for listing albums? Just to try and help the person who wanted it I would (humbly) suggest that Brian's "Back To The Light" and The Cross' "Mad Bad And Dangerous To Know" are as good as any place to start with the solo efforts.

Mr. Bad Guy!!!!!!!!!!!
That time will come, one day you'll see, when we can all be friends.

"Mad, "Bad and Dangerous To Know is listed at a price of roughly $75. Not a good start."

Well if the boyfriend buys it then it just shows that the young lady has found a guy who shows promise! :-)

Roger's Happiness?
Freddie's Mr Bad Guy
Brian's Back To The Light

I recommend buying some solo albums.

And if you can't find MBADTK on ebay for $30 you should be shot.

I Would Recomend...

FREDDIE: Mr Bad Guy, Barcelona, The Great Pretender

BRIAN: Back To The Light, Another World

ROGER: Happiness (my fav of all the bands solo albums, best song on this album is foreign sand)

I want to get "Back To The Light" and it's out of print..here in the USA. I did find "Another World" but it was a Japanese import for $50..about 2 days ago..too rich for my blood.

I still have never seen either the 3 CD or the 10 CD/3 DVD FM solo collection. Boy you said the 3 CD is only about $25 not bad at all., just wish I could find it. Damn! I go to Tower Records and our independent record store Record & Tape Traders and they carry and can find anything...but not this. That's where I saw the Japanese import of "Another World".

I recommend you Brian's Another World and Roger's Electric Fire. They rock!

I recomend you to buy them all since you have your own taste and opinion. They all are good, really!

Allow me to ask one question?

How in the hell do people come off as Queen experts, supposedly having followed the band for decades, and yet they do not own, nor have they listened to..... a Freddie or Brian solo LP? Or the WWRY concert vid? Or.....

Am I simply asking questions that every one else has either already figured out, and are quiet in not saying anything, or just not paying attention?

I love some of the info some people here provide, but, geesh, what gives?
