These are DVD .VOB files so you can either burn a DVD or play them directly or convert to mpeg or whatever. It's pretty big, around 4GB. Hope it works.

It's the entire show, i.e.:

Tie Your Mother Down
Can't Get Enough Of Your Love
I Want To Break Free
Fat Bottomed Girls
Say It's Not True (B-Stage, Roger Taylor on lead vocal)
Too Much Love Will Kill You (feat. Katie Melua)
Hammer To Fall (Slow Version, Brian May on lead vocal intro)
A Kind Of Magic
Feel Like Making Love
Radio Ga Ga (Roger Taylor on lead vocal)
Crazy Little Thing Called Love
The Show Must Go On
All Right Now
We Will Rock You
We Are The Champions (feat.African Childrens Choir)

N.B: These files are blank screen
VTS_01_4.VOB
VTS_01_5.VOB
You MAY wish to skip them. However they MAY be needed if you want to burn it to a blank DVD. I don't know, sorry.

Anyone making any noticeable progress with it? I'm fairly new to this so I can't really tell if it's working or not...I'm only uploading at about 10kbps at the moment, is that just because I don't have many people connected?
E
I'm on to 20kbps now...seems the more people who jump on, the faster upload speed I get. presumably once I've uploaded 4.2GB or whatever it is, everyone will have the whole thing between them so I can leave you lot to it? By my reckoning that will be some time on Monday morning...

Maybe when it's finally finished someone in the know could convert it to FLAC or mp3 and seed it? Should only be around 500MB as FLAC or 100MB as mp3.

The video is well worth the extra wait though. Best we've got so far from this tour, as it's the only bit that's been professionally filmed and televised!

Agreed - this is the big one! Thanks!

After downloading this big file, is it possible to convert it to vcd with Nero and burn it to watch it on my dvd player as a vcd instead of a dvd?

Thanks

Yeah you should be able to, I'm not entirely sure to be honest. Perhaps I should have covnerted it to mpeg or something myself, but I thought I might as well let people have the best possible quality.

Thanks, by the way, to cliff.howell from QOL (and maybe he posts here as well) for sending me a copy of the DVD, which a friend of his recorded in South Africa.

Thanks for the stuff, yes!
Maybe if it is converted to mpg the loss is big...I mean, a vcd can only hold...700 or 800 mbs? and the dvd file is 4gbs!
the only problem is a lot of people can not burn dvds and a vcd/mpg option would be great.

You can play the DVD files on your computer though...and there's almsot certainly a way of converting to mpeg, but I suspect it takes quite a long time to do. I'm sure an mpeg will surface soon after this one gets distributed properly. And an mp3 version would be nice as well. I would make it, but the only way I know of is recording using sound recorder which means I'd have to leave the computer on for an hour and not be able to use it!

Nero will convert dvd files to vcd but it doesn't really seem worthwhile. The dvds are much better quality and an internal dvd recorder for a PC is only about £35 now so not exactly a major outlay - plus they are easy to add to the system, even I've manged it and I am no techy.

PS Tried downloading this but it is very slow at the moment - if someone can send me a copy of the dvd I promise to copy it and send it to at least 10 other memebers of the forum for free (well, free to them financially but hopefully they will pass on the goodwill)
