Antwerp Concert

Hey,

Next wednesday I'm going to see Queen in the 'Sportpaleis'. As for I haven't seen Queen yet in the past or during their 2005 tour, I've got some questions.

I'll take the train from Ghent to Antwerp. But...by day I've got to go the university. I'm planning to skip my last lesson (it ends at 17.15h, the concert starts at 20.30h). My arrival in Antwerp will be around 18.30h. That's 2 houres before the start of the concert. Then, I'll take the subway or the bus, I don't know yet. So let's say it'll be around 19.15 that me and my girlfriend arrive at the venue. Now I look at all this above, I realise it's a bit needless to get to my point...but...19.15h, is it a good time to arrive if you know the concert starts 1.15h later?

Or is that much much too late to get a decent place in the middle of the arena? I don't know.

Okay, next question. Many other Gentenaars or other Belgian people who're giong to see Queen next week?

And what about the Dutch people. At the one hand I hope there won't be too many because their Dutch ;-) but on the other hand...it's always great fun with them.

Oh well, you can't subdivide Queenfans in races, nations or whatever.

hehe, I don't mind and I'm Dutch and will attend the concert!:)

I'm also one of the dutch who is going to make a invasion in antwerp ;) (also not offensive ofcourse)

I'm from Brugge, and I'll also be there, so at least there'll be two Belgians in Antwerp that night.

Don't know yet,it depends on who's driving and at what time we can leave. I hope we can avoid rush hour and the traffic jams around Antwerp.

Btw, I'm a Lierse-fan, and as the soccer-fans among you know, tomorrow is Club Brugge - Lierse for the cup... So I'm dreaming of getting an SMS to say we won, right at the moment when the boys start "We are the champions"... would be nice :-)

I still gotta wait till monday (Dortmund) sigh.... but then 2 concerts in a row, Tuesday too (Rotterdam,Ahoy) :D

In a few hours I will experience my first Queen concert! I'm very happy about it, I hope they will give us a nice show!

It's sold out, so the atmosphere should be good.

I live in Breda, which is only 45mins away from Antwerp. Too bad I have no tickets for Ahoy'. But I will go to Arnhem if I get the chance!
