B-sides (especially solo ones) and bootleg live recordings ARE allowed as far as I know

Yes, especially in light of recent events over at EZT. It was "allowed" with a wink before, but not now.
I think Richard wants to tighten up the rules a bit about posting anything that's been released officially. See the sticky "How to Post a Torrent" as well as the message at the top of the page when you are typing a message in this forum.
