you dont need to worry about that on the drums
and I think the wires on the stuff is grounded, I have seen a few concerts in the rain where the guitar player plays a little in the rain, so it must be grounded.

Thanks, I actually just watched TSMGO twice again..and I really watched closely. You are right. They are brief clips in the video so the full footage is not there, but Freddie looks like he is standing in water crashing down on him (which as you said, he probably had already thrown in the air over himself).
Freddie is wearing red leather pants and playing his cream Telecaster guitar in the clip, if that helps telling you what tour/concert it's from.
Roger hits his drums and water splashes out. So COOL!!!! I really miss that I NEVER got to see them LIVE in concert. Geez, when I see stuff like this it's so cool!
