I have had them for two and a half years. Now I got my retainer and I can't talk with all of this spit in my mouth. hehe
I'll try to take some pics later. :-)

Good for you !!!!! I am going 2morrow and again next week to get teeth out (4 to be exact). i am getting traintracks, you're lucky it's over !!!!! Now you'll have a Julia Roberts stylee smile !!!! :-)

I remember when I got my braces off that my mouth felt all slimey. I guess the braces had my mouth dried out for 2 years.
Word from the wise..WEAR your retainer..;-)
I didn't wear it like I should have and my teeth shifted. Another tip..don't wrap your retainer up in a kleenex, cause your mom will throw it away..:-B

Lucky you! I have no idea how long I have to have mine for, and then I may have to have a different kind afterwards! I suppose if the end result is perfect teeth then I can suffer! :D

Don't worry, the end results will definately be worth it. It will make you appreciate your teeth more than you have ever imagined. I just can't believe how much I'm caring for my teeth now. I want to keep them perfect so I've been brushing them 4-6 times a day. I think it's starting to become a habbit...:-p
