What Software do You use if You want to reduce noise from an demo or from an Vinyl recording ?
Sometimes it's very difficult, when you don't have some secunds only with noise.

Cool Edit Pro is a great program for this - but be careful that you don't remove too much hiss, otherwise you'll be left with a digital noise in the sound.
Hiss reduction is usually not the best thing to do anyway, because you lose treble.

Goldwave is a nice all-round sound editor, with a nice noise reduction tool, but again, be careful with the level of reduction, or you end up with a digital 'wobble' in the background.
